FOAM, a mock-up · WHORL

PLAY

You're a small googly-eyed soap bubble in a sink of jelly, oobleck, glue, honey and ketchup, all one simulation. Drag to steer: catch the loose bubbles and you grow, scrub the grime, and ride the sink's curved sides. At 40 you get your face, the plug pops and the drain opens. The bigger you get, the safer you are: a Soda Crab pops a small bubble, a jelly swallows anything smaller than itself, and dawdle and Scrubby the sponge comes for you through the walls.

Font

The game's lettering: vector lines like Tempest's, Namco-style pixels, or the house font. F switches it in the game too.

Look

Effects

Neon glows (the default); Arcade adds a CRT's scanlines and curve; Minter glows hardest and splits the colours a little. L and E switch them in the game. If your device asks for less motion, the game keeps still: no flashes, no trails, nothing turning.

Or the sandbox

Every material on its own, and the bubble trying each one: slowly through, then a ram.

3D sandbox Flat Flat on the CPU

The game and the 3D sandbox are the whole simulation in three dimensions on the graphics chip. Flat is the same materials seen from above, in pixel art, and Flat on the CPU runs that without the graphics chip, to compare; past about 6,000 particles it slows down. The top right of the game shows the frame rate; ×0.5 beside it means the simulation is running at half speed to keep up. 3D and Flat need WebGPU: Chrome, or Safari on iOS 26 and later.
